The Mudam pedestrian and cycle bridge
The project was born from a desire to facilitate pedestrian and cycle access to the Museum of Modern Art of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
The footbridge will thus cross the national forest, the preservation of which was an important aspect when developing the plans.
The stainless steel surface benefits from a mirror polishing type treatment on the exterior side and a microblasting type treatment on the interior side. This achievement by A.P.A. Franche-Comté will allow the reflection of the wooded landscape and the footbridge will thus blend into its environment.
It is a piece of art in itself thanks to the marriage of functionality and aesthetics; a true bridge between nature and culture.
